Adult Mosquito Control Treatment to Suppress West Nile Virus Activity in Portions of 94086, 94087, and 95051 on 08/30/21

Mosquitoes infected with West Nile virus have been detected in a small portion of the county. When these infected mosquitoes bite humans, they can transmit the virus which can cause serious illness. To reduce the threat to you and your family, the County of Santa Clara Vector Control District will be reducing the population of mosquitoes with a localized/ground adult mosquito control treatment in parts of the 94086, 94087, and 95051 zip-codes. The treatment is scheduled to begin Monday, August 30, around 10PM, and last approximately 3 hours. Please view our interactive map of the treatment area for questions about the treatment location.
