Adult mosquito treatment to suppress West Nile virus activity in part of Milpitas (95035) on 09/21/22

Mosquitoes infected with West Nile virus have been detected in a small portion of Milpitas. When these infected mosquitoes bite humans, they can transmit the virus which can cause serious illness.

To reduce the threat to you and your family, the County of Santa Clara Vector Control District will be reducing the population of mosquitoes with a localized mosquito control treatment in parts of the 95035 ZIP code. The treatment will use truck-mounted equipment and is scheduled to begin Wednesday, September 21 around 10PM and last approximately 4 hours.
